// A Liberty Wellington Hemp - Capel in a sapphire blue on a navy base. First printed by Liberty Fabrics in 1978, Capel was inspired by a vintage style of Liberty floral dating from the 1930s. A small, loosely-drawn design with an all-over repeat, it has been part of the Classics collection since 1993. This lightweight fabric has been woven with a slubby hemp yarn creating an earthy fabric with a smooth, natural hand feel with naturally occurring slubs throughout. A semi-transparent fabric with a matt finish and no stretch. The texture gives this lightweight plain weave fabric a casual feel. Ideal for DIY projects, homewares, tops, shirts like the Bloom, summer dresses like the Ivy.
